Alexander, I wanted to let you know I began to read your pre-publication manuscript of NFAA. I’m sorry I haven’t been able to sooner. I’ve just been struggling with connectivity out here in the boonies. I thought I’d give you some feedback anyway.
I’ve only made it through the prolouge and a couple of pages after that so I can’t give too much feedback yet. I do like the readability at the site where your manuscript is located. Even with the little bit I read, your style immediately reminded me a lot of one of my favorite authors, Jeanette Winterson, especially her novel, Sexing the Cherry. Like she did in this novel, you do also in the beginning of your book, that is tell not show when admitting to telling a story. It takes special skill to be able to tell the reader the writer is telling a story. I was impressed how you pulled this off in the beginning of the story.
Thanks for making your book available to those of us who love to read!
So happy you, in particular, are reading the book :-)
Having Sena, in the prologue, give the reader the option of believing she’s real or not seemed to me to help them go along with the fiction and accept it…
I’ve sent the manuscript to you via email–hope it helps you read it.
You must respond to that email and let me fulfill my promise to those who comment:
I’ll add your name (or, alias) to a Special Listing in the book of those who helped…
Because of the nature of the feedback you’ve given, you can also have a 2-line Bio and web address in your listing…
Send that info to me, ok?
Will do. :-)
