You might well be interested in Cigdem y Mirol’s bookperformance work which I had the chance to listen to at an international conference on authorship. Her work reinvents love between the reader and the author and intelligently manifests bookperformance for today’s reception. More info may be found in her website. http://www.cigdemymirol.net
Cigdem y Mirol’s first book or bookperformance as she says is called Myface Book. That’s great. Hope it will soon get translated into English. It already has some parts in English and In German.

Meanwhile, I guess this bookperformance project is also an academic work. As far as I see on google, she has published some articles and presented some papers on the love between the author and the reader and also on bookperformance. I simply appreciate people like this.
