What Are The Daily Rituals of Creative People?

Short post today—book recommendation and an infographic (from my Best Friend) to ponder deeply

The book:

Daily Rituals by Mason Currey

A bit of the blurb:

“Kafka is one of 161 inspired, and inspiring, minds — among them, novelists, poets, playwrights, painters, philosophers, scientists, and mathematicians — whose daily rituals are recorded in these pages.”

Now the infographic:

I love this Infographic but I sometimes wonder why writers and readers are so fascinated with the daily routines of others. It’s not as though just emulating the work routine of Milton or Kafka will turn me into them, lol. (But I guess it might *help* to work long hours) However I have to admit that I always *love* this kind of info and I do own the book by Maison Currey :-) So yeah,I love it!

Well, Jane, I had thought to mention to folks just the consideration you voice—yet, I think my other readers are as smart as you—fascinated yet aware they must find their own patterns of work-ritual…
