A Virtual World That Makes Author Promotion Easy

Many writers get very nervous or anxious when the topic of Promotion enters their radar…

As regular readers of this blog know, I’m a maverick in promoting and I feel all writers should “do their own thing”.

Sure, check out what successful authors have to say but, then, pull back and craft all that advice into your own unique program.

Here’s a link for you if you want to read more about my take on book promotion.

Also, I do most of my “social networking” in the virtual world Second Life on Book Island.

Not so long ago, I was on the Island to meet a psychologist who has an Internet radio show.

She was checking out what it was like to be in a Space where writers and readers from all over the world hung out and socialized, as well as having readings and informative chats.

She asked me if I’d like to be on her radio show

I had a great time being interviewed by Dr. Barbara; and, my friends who’ve heard the show say it can do two things:

~ Give you a feeling for what a virtual world is like

~ Show you the potential for Promotion in a virtual world

Here’s where you can listen to Dr. Barbara and I talk about Authors and Technology ~ Looking at Second Life Opportunities :-)
