Sarah’s poem deals so wonderfully with being ‘lonely’. As writers we are all alone at some stage in our creativity, but that does not mean we have to feel ‘lonely’. Writers have to try and deal with this or they will go under. ‘Lonely’ is a state of mind that only we can control, ‘alone’ is a mere statistic – one writer in one room on one day :)

Also, when you say, “Writers have to try and deal with this [being alone] or they will go under.”, I feel you’ve touched on what has caused many writers to be still-born and never capable of giving the world their Gifts…
