I tried Second Life once shortly after I watched a two part episode of CSI: New York that featured an assassin using the game to hunt her targets.
Unfortunately I didn’t know what to do with myself after character creation and so I stopped playing. I’d have to dig through my emails just to find out what my character name was…
I find what you are doing in Second Life to be fascinating and brilliant. I had heard that businesses and schools were making use of the game to do stuff like this but it seemed like a flash in the pan sort of thing. I guess it’s still going on and doing quite well then. I’m starting to get some ideas…
Ellen,
I remember visiting a CSI-crime scene in SL:-)
You could either dig through your emails for your old avatar or just created a new one, eh?
Also, lots of businesses did come in-world yet the ones who stayed are there for more than just the money…
Glad you’re getting “ideas”.
Come visit us on Book Island :-)
