Dear Alexander,
I too follow the relationship-oriented philosophy – prefer the power of the word of a mouth to SEO help so to speak. Thus we both act likewise, yet while rejoicing over your results/the friendships you have made, I recognize myself as the lonely wanderer on a web.and silently gaze at the rapid fading of my ‘original works’ in ignorance. We can hold the same outlook yet each of us faces his own destiny. It is easy to stumble there so I am very glad to escape the trap of pity for self and greet you wholeheartedly. Best wishes from the untitled.
Tomas,
Please do not grieve that your work isn’t receiving as much attention as it deserves.
Also, in comparing your mission to mine, be aware that I have a very small “following” even after a full year of intense effort; though, even if it takes the rest of my life, I will continue to build relationships that can aid me in getting my work to its destined readership…
Wow… thanks for featuring my posts ;D If my “enthusiasm for the literary potential of Book Island is infectious” it’s because Book Island is awesome! A professional editor has agreed to come in as a My Fair Lady type experiment and I’m going to set her up on Book Island for two weeks so she can experience the magic herself. Thank you again for the feature Alexander, I’m enjoying your posts and am honored to be here. You rock!
Book Island IS Awesome :-)
Gonna be interesting to see the results of your “experiment”…
